Fraudulent Requests for Customer Billing Information Dec-08-2006

Some Road Runner subscribers have reported receiving fraudulent e-mails requesting personal user billing information.

Please be aware that Road Runner will not request your billing or password information via e-mail.

Should you receive an e-mail requesting your billing or password information, do not provide this information. You may report the message by forwarding a copy with its Internet headers to spamblock@security.rr.com

Note: If your credit card information is compromised while using the Internet, contact your credit card company immediately. Each company has specific policies regarding online theft and fraud. Please contact them directly for more information.
